The inauguration of the "City and the World" exhibition at Contemporary Space Athens, 74 Mitropoleos, in Plaka, was held with great success on Friday, September 8, 2017. On the same night, the Chicago Athenaeum, the Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, presented the 2017 International Architectural Awards and the European Prize for Architecture 2017 at the Divani Palace Acropolis. The architectural firms that were present at the ceremony of the 2017 International Architecture Award: RDH Architects (Canada), Ruiz Pardo – Nebreda (Spain), JOHO Architecture (S. Korea), Daoust Lestage architecture (Canada), Robert Konieczny KWK Promes(Poland), Christoph Hesse Architects (Germany), Manuelle Gautrand Architecture (France), MVSA Architects, (The Netherlands), TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten (Germany), S.Β Αrch – Studio Bargone Architetti Associati and Gruppo Stones (Italy ). The European Prize for Architecture for 2017 was given at the same night to Manuelle Gautrand.
