Project Description

No views and little privacy from the road their project proposes to maintain the trees and the surrounding nature, the architects needed to ensure privacy from the access road and guarantee views from the valley, so the architects decided to hide the house on one side and float over the existing nature on the other. In this way, the architects succeeded in achieving a double objective, making the house totally hidden from the outside and respecting the existing pine trees and getting a magnificent green 'garden' (at no cost of water) as are the tops of the pines.

The access level is hidden from the street and semi-buried in the mountain, however, on the opposite side, the house overlooks the valley and the nature. The foundations of the villa are located in the excavated area, and fly over the natural terrain IN ORDER TO NOT affect the environment. It is a project that seeks NO invasion of the environment and maximum respect for the native nature.

The house is developed in a single space, divided by natural elements, such as water, vegetation... in such a way that with a single view the architects can understand the whole volume. Creating a home to coexist among the inhabitants. Likewise, the projected volumes are set back from each other so as not to block the sunlight. Sadly, in the area and in the architectural sector the architects work in, there is a prevalence of major land modifications and a lack of native trees.

The architects hope that this project will help to understand the importance of luxury housing to be even more environmentally friendly in order to set the trend and help to respect nature.
